Server rules
Short list, strictly enforced. Death already costs you plenty here — these are the things that cost you the account.

One account, one player
Running an alt to farm Soul Dust, dodge a death or stack claim blocks is treated as cheating. Play your run, not three of them.

No cheating
Hacked clients, x-ray, auto-clickers, macros, duping and any exploit that skips survival are permanent bans. Minimaps without entity radar and fair-play mods are fine.

Claims are the line
Everything inside someone's Homestead is theirs. Don't tunnel around a claim edge to reach chests, and don't box somebody in by building on their doorstep.

Wreck the resource world, not the map
The resource world exists to be strip-mined and blown up — go for it, it resets. Doing the same to somebody’s neighbourhood in the main world is griefing.

Keep chat decent
Trash talk and rivalries are part of the fun. Slurs, harassment, threats and sharing anyone’s personal information are not.

Report bugs, don’t farm them
Find a way to duplicate Soul Dust, walk out of Purgatory or conjure a Rebirth Key? Tell staff. Using it instead is a ban.
The systems that run HCMC
HCMC does not run on off-the-shelf hardcore plugins. Every system below was written in-house by SwansonX for this server — and every one of them is free for every player.
Soul Vault & Purgatory
Die and everything you were carrying goes into your Soul Vault, then you choose. Spend a Rebirth Key and take all of it back, or go to Purgatory — a quiet place between the living and the lost — and your Soul Vault is deleted with every item in it. No key means no choice.
Rebirth Keys
The only way to keep what you were carrying. Spend one when you die and you return to exactly where you fell, gear and all, like it never happened. Without one your Soul Vault is deleted and Purgatory is the only road back.
The Soulmine
No key, or you turned it down? Your Soul Vault is gone permanently — every item you were carrying with it — and you descend. Mine Soul Dust in the dark, sell it to the Shade, and buy your own way back to the surface — ranking up into deeper, richer mines as you go.
Homestead claims
Claim your land and nobody can touch your builds or your chests. The claim grows as you play, you can trust friends to build alongside you, and you set exactly where /home drops you — name it and everyone who wanders in sees what you called it.
Attunement
Your own skill tree. Earn XP by playing, spend it on what suits how you play, and respec whenever you want to try something else.
The Soul Lantern
One item in your pocket that opens all of it — claims, kits, chat channels, private messages, chat tags and quests. One tap, no commands to memorise, and it works the same on Java and Bedrock.
Resource world
A world built to be destroyed, reset on a regular schedule. Strip-mine it, blow it up, take what you want — it'll be fresh again before long and your real base is never in the blast radius.
Free repairs
/fix gives every player two free repairs a day. No rank to buy, no cooldown to skip, no supporter tier that gets more of them.
